In my opinion, his style complements Jinx's style perfectly. (I'm assuming Jinx is the one who made all the assets for Revenge of the Sunfish 1?)
Heh hey, Jumpy Cat, Welcome to the forums and nice to see you enlivening the place! Yeah I made the assets for Revenge of the Sunfish, with the exception of the fly photo and a particular ninja sprite that only appears when the ninja character dies, that was drawn by a friend of mine. Yes Kubus was an interesting fellow. I actually wouldn't have released Sunfish one, if not for him, because I didn't think it was very good at the time, as it was just something I made for my personal amusement (sortof), he suggested I should release it, I thought it was a good idea, and the rest is internet history. he developed his artwork in a different direction, experimenting with lots of different programs while I mainly continued with MS paint. I like the crispness of 1 pixel width lines, that's why. There were some similarities in drawing style, early on. I would definitely say that his early style influenced mine in some ways. I always liked how he drew eyes, on the sides of heads. now I've been developing my own style for a long time since then, which has morphed into something new yet again. So yeah, thanks for joining and for the stalkerish vibes.

LOL! Maybe that's why you decided to make a game about sunfish?π
Cause they have 1 eyeball on each side of their head?
Your brain was probably thinking about this, at a subconscious level, which might explain why the Cyber Sunfish's brain is exposed!
I might be overthinking this, though....
Anyways, cheers to Kubus!πΊπ₯

I hadn't thought of that, and maybe that did influence me somehow, although I had already been obsessed by sunfish for years before seeing Kubus work. I remember seeing a Sunfish once, at a fishing warf, and I remember it made an impression on me, cause of how strange it looked, and also because I read somewhere that sunfish were classified as plankton because they can't really swim against the current.
