first for Why does Bandcamp only permit for only lossless files to be uploaded? I'm not going to spend time and harddrive space appeasing to some dumb audiophiles placebo pills for diamond-encrusted 50000kHz file headers and then file a lawsuit against the local power company to buy my own power line to '"keep the signal pure", while my recording process is noisier and grainier than a bag of chopped bulk grain cereal.

also I don't give much of a fuck about recording quality, I reckon a bit of clipping makes it sound more exciting
oh actually I prefer good files though, but in the process of recording I don't really worry too much about getting it noise free
