The type of sound tech I like is guitar effects pedals. I like to plug in my keyboard instead to find interesting combinations to a sampler. The sound from the keyboard has a different response to the pedals then the guitar, not that I dont use the guitar as well. I wish I could get all those weird guitar pedals, but they cost a SHIT ton of money.
Heres a list of my pedals. Some digitech multi from the 90s MXR phase CB wah Screamin Blues a couple other metal pedals from my bro that I never use.
I'm thinking of trying to find other cheap weird sounds but it's hard without spending $200+

i don't really have anything, just pc software. I Used to have a keyboard, it was the sort you might see in a retirement village though to keep the old folks occupied, ie it wasn't very musically practical. I just abandoned it last time i moved house, I'd like to get a newer one, and maybe I will.

I have a guitar and a keyboard. My parents also gave me some kind of guitar pedal on my birthday the other day, it's like an attack envelope on a synthesizer. Mostly I just make things sound weird by messing with them on the computer, and I use linux and there are very good free synthesizers on there that I can control by keyboard.

Back in the beginning of sounds I made, I used only old XP version of audacity. Editing sounds were hard because It was real hard to find a scale and I had very limited recording capabilities.
