Hey, I'm from Montreal. Your life sounds really unhealthy. It's okay im down to only caffeine and sugar now, I run a lot and eat vegetables, some times you have to let life become pure chaos to find the magic stuff

Welcome to the forums Spider web head, and thanks for sharing your diverse and colorful interests with us. I'm always interested to learn the backgrounds of people who stumble onto the forums. I can relate to having difficulty consolidating work. I've got so many half started projects, it's ridiculous. What medium are you using for sculpture? If you don't mind me asking.

Hello everybody, my name is Willy, I currently live in Texas. I like to make all types of art stuff, I am best at drawing because I've practiced that more than anything else, I've also made some music Im kinda proud of ( soundcloud.com/djbobbyhill/sets/ecclesiastes ) ( underwaterhelicoptertour.bandcamp.com/releases ) and ive made some music that I'm ashamed of that I wont be linking. In my life I want to make full feature length films, make albums, have art shows, make clothes, make sculptures, and I want to make virtual reality games. I also really love to travel and go on weird dangerous adventures. I am trying to build a life for myself where I can survive and thrive doing whatever the hell I want. Right now I am working towards putting on a gallery show of paintings and sculptures, in the process of doing this I am realizing how much I hate all my art stuff, and how much better I want to be at it. My art can be very cluster fucky and if you saw everything I've made you would probably think it was all made by different people and this frustrates me, right now I am trying to consolidate my art and refine my voice, I feel like I'm on the trail of something. My influences are also very cluster fucky, I like artist ranging from extremely famous to virtually unknown, I just like good stuff where ever I find it and I am a very big fan of stuff. I'm gonna go ahead and list my favorite artists here: Brian Chippendale, Joe Roberts (LSD WorldPeace) my absolute favorite right now , Gilbert Williams, Matt Brinkman, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Tyler the Creator, Tracey Trance, The Savage Young Taterbug, Gaspar Noe, Werner Herzog, The Catamites, Osama Sato, Pendleton Ward, Pharrell Williams, Keita Takahashi, crypt worlds person genius (cicada marionette?), phillip k dick, robert anton wilson, blah blah blah blah I could go on forever there are dozens I didnt mention. Last year when I was living in Montreal going to art school (for a year) I would be snowed in to my apartment and I would smoke alot of pot and eat nicotine mints and drink coffee and eat large amounts of chocolate and alcohol while staying up until 7 am. I didn't bathe and wouldn't talk to people for weeks on end. This is when I got into weird art games and found out about sunfish. I am a big fan of Saint (the best curator alive) and I often end up just watching videos of weird games rather than actually playing them I dont know if thats cheating (I find that alot of the games even though they are very genius require alot of patience to get through). Last year I read the kimberly kubus memorial on jinx's website and I really related to it because at the time I was meditating alot and having these weird experiences where I would fly through a mushroom dimension and I found out "this is where my soul was from or something" and I was like a prince from this dimension and I came to earth to learn some stuff to bring back to the mushroom people, it was really intense and I am still going off of the momentum of these strange experiences I had for like a month, anyways I really related to Kubus having his own personal religion and mythology going on in his head that fueled his art. I also love jinx's stuff your art is cool i love u guys sorry that was pretty long winded holy macaroni this posts reads like you typed it up in 30 seconds while high on cocaine and coffee welcome to the forums! imo its pretty cool if your art has variety and looks different, i personally dislike when all the stuff from an artist looks the same, trying out different things is great! i was going through your fav artists and i was like "this is good stuff" and then i just noticed robert antont wilson thrown in there, are you enlightened?? niiice, im glad to see another guy "from his own world", maybe make some art based on that mushroom dimension. or for that matter, tell us more about what kinda stuff you wanna do, making vr games and clothes sounds pretty interesting. show us your sculptures n stuff!!

I can relate to having difficulty consolidating work. I've got so many half started projects, it's ridiculous. What medium are you using for sculpture? If you don't mind me asking. Yeah I've got a lot of half finished stuff too, the way I see as long as I am really consistent with my work ethic and just keep putting in hours of earnestly trying my best to make good stuff everyday that's really the most you can do and the rest will work itself out. Well I haven't actually STARTED the sculptures yet I'm not like an experienced sculptor I just have ideas for a few pieces I want to make for a show, I know how I want them to look and have not figured out how to execute them yet. Right now I'm just working on large scale paintings and I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm not gonna have the art show in the city I live in, and I want the sculptures to be pretty big so I'm trying to figure out how I can make them in the city of the show. This is a sculpture I made in clay when I was like 12 I want to make my new sculptures in a similar style but lifesize, my girlfriend bought me a weird paper mache mask in nicaragua and it really inspired me to make my own masks

Are you a Robert Anton Wilson fan? Whats your favorite stuff by him? I've been reading cosmic trigger and it has been a gateway drug to a bunch of really weird shit. I have made a bunch of art based on the mushroom dimension! I went through a period where I was just habitually drawing mushroom dudes and even though the experience was authentic I hadn't actually visited the place in months and it felt a bit artificial, this was kind of the route of the whole existential confusion that made me feel like my art sucked. BUT i've been having some new experiences that have been making the mushroom experiences relevant and I have been able to revisit these ideas and fit them back into a larger mosaic mythology. I haven't yet made ANY GAMES its just goal i have for a little down the line, and something I am starting to build toward in the background. I was starting to make a little "interactive fiction" thing out of pixel art but I quickly abandoned it and made an album instead. You can find my clothes at thankyou7.net , it was my main thing i was thinking about for like 5 months but I'm kind of over it, the process of making the clothes was not actually very fun to me, i want to make more clothes when I have access to more resources, i just want to be able to to design stuff and outsource the laborious work to sumbody else, also wanna make more than just t shirts i want to make pants and shoes and suits and stuff, which is hard to do when you have 12 dollars in your bank account. Not extremely proud of the "Thank You" stuff the brand name really bothers me at this point, and i hate that there is a fucking number 7 in my website address, I'm not a huge fan of the final product but it was a really valuable learning experience. Here's some of my mushroom art I dont know how to make these pictures bigger:
