Whitetail bites aren't too bad actually. Won't send you to hospital or anything.

nah their ok, i mean the bite is not super venomous, but there’s an urban legend that they cause necrosis but I don’t think it’s true. The CSIRO did some studies on the venom a few years back and couldn’t prove the necrosis theory. I think funnel webs are much more venomous, at least as an Australian spider.

Yeah I think I always just assumed they were really bad because they look pretty mean. I guess the name sounds like redback too. I have one that lives above the window in my studio and she's nice.
Whenever I find a spider in my bedroom that isn't a daddylonglegs I definitely move it outside though.

In whitetail news i found a boy one hanging out in the kitchen sink.
I found a cool yellow spider on my worm farm, but haven't looked it up yet. Hope it's not scouting for a worm v spider war.
