Since we had such a nice discussion about tea, let's have a thread What's your favorite kind of tea? And what other substances do you drink/take/inhale? Coffee? Alcohol? Drugs? Whatever you don't fear, post it here!
I personally usually drink tea for sleep/calming, the best ones are made out of self grown herbs. Teabags are also useful for skin treatment, just rub them wherever you want, it helps me very much to rub them on eyes while closed, I suddenly feel an extreme calmness.
As for other drugs, there is not much. I was going to try a hookah though since a dude I know from Afganistan brought it and its gonna be the legit stuff, will report results.

Do you guys ever eat something extremely spicy to get a kind of "high"? I remember once rubbing my eye accidentally while my finger still had a bit of spice on it and it hurt so much, it almost felt like I could endure anything.

InfernatBee peppermint is a kind of mint, not mint+pepper you goose!
We have a loquat tree out the back and you're supposed to be able to make tea from it's leaves, but I haven't tried yet.
Mostly I drink earl grey. I probably drink 4-6 cups a day?
My favourite tea is cardamom tea.

Yeah earl grey tea is great, I drink nerada though for some reason. Maybe 5-9 cups a days. Apparently you can make dandelion tea and nettle tea. Anyone tried Kombucha? it's a fermented tea substance which has a floating mushroom in it (actually some kind of fermentation culture)

I've had nettle tea before, but it didn't have a very memorable taste. Darjeeling tea is quite good but it requires a bit of finesse to brew properly, which I've never been able to do at home. Really quite good if you can have a proper cup though.

I ate a chilli and then I went to work in a sort of maniacal state and actually enjoyed it for once and worked super hard for a few hours before it wore off

I used to chew wormwood plants, but they are actually poisonous so I stopped doing that. It did nothing for me.

Once I ate a bunch of old garlic cloves and then became extremely tired for a few minutes, then after that became extremely excited and drunklike, and everything was moving around strangely

Anyone ever had some kinda hypersleep where you dream rapidly or just generally had weird dreams caused by any type of substance? I had some weird "hypersleeps" sometime where I had like 30 dreams in 10 minutes.

I had some weird "hypersleeps" sometime where I had like 30 dreams in 10 minutes. yeah i think that's happened to me before. I played the coolest game in my dreams the other night, it was sort of an adventure set on a rickety pirate ship, full of traps. i remember that you had to find an amulet which allowed you to swim in the ships sunken hull, otherwise you would immediately get eaten by a shark. There were many instant death traps in it, like an anchor that fell on the player cutting them in half and bits of the mast that would skewer, these led to cinematic cut scenes. I don't actually remember what it was about.

I made homebrewed mead one time, and that had a very funny effect, it would sort of make you extremely strange for about three hours, then after that you would get a very bad headache and be miserable. However, I have found the headache is not as bad if you avoid the lumps in the bottom of the bottle

I like iced green tea. It's so refreshing. I can't handle much of the real bitter tea but I've been able to handle more than I used to.
