Green tea is the ideal, model citizen of drinks. - Reasonable amount of caffeine that isn't Monster-tier diabetic cardiac arrest
- Tastes great straight from the pot or pitcher
- Only needs a reasonably small amount of sweeteners if that's your thing

I've been drinking a lot of mint tea and chamomile because it isn't caffeinated. Mint tea also counteracts bad breath with is A+.

Hmmm. If it helps wattleseed is earthy and smokey, and the aniseed and mint tastes are very light.
Wattle's just the name we use here for acacia, so maybe you could find that in a botanical garden or something where you are. Dunno if seeds from all different types are edible though.............
