I had two until recently, on nebbia.fail and mastodon.bida.im - but these Italian instances had very few English speakers, and Nebbia had maintenance problems after which I lost my contacts, so currently I have no accs.

Oh! Nebbia is one of the words I always remember! Does it have a double meaning? Hadn't actually heard of that instance.
I lived in central Italy for a while, part of that was in a little old town on top of a hill, so sometimes I had reason to say molto nebbioso in Winter as I walked around :3

As a matter of fact, yes it does have a double meaning! At first I thought it just meant "fog=secrecy", but it's actually because the instance is hosted in Milan, which is known for its foggy weather. So it's more like "Nebbia=Milano". Nebbia is a super obscure and very small instance, hosted by a group called lab61. It's more like a branch of mastodon.bida.im and mastodon.cisti.org. The folks on Nebbia are very nice, I helped them translate their instance rules to English - even though I don't know Italian I'd love to visit Italy one day, it seems like a very beautiful and peaceful country.
