If you kill someone and absorb their powers you will add their life spans on top of yours. Just kill a couple people.

at the moment I think you're always immortal and death is another stage of things changing rather than an end to anything
for some reason i get confidence from thinking of my self as unimportant and insignifcanct, such as looking at the stars and thinking i don't matter makes me feel good. and i think this is related to me being unafraid of the idea of dying. although i dont know, maybe i would be terrified of dying if i thought i was actually going to die (of course id be worried for others around me). and i havent experienced a death apart from my mum's old cat dying which was sad but also it felt good (she was unwell anyway)
anyway things need to die for other life to emerge, and i try to imagine myself part of this process and that helps too

Immortality will probably be scientifically feasible within the next 300 years, maybe sooner.
It could be achieved using nanobots which would be programmed to systematically replace organic neurons in the brain with synthetic ones, ones which would be engineered to be more durable. However the synthetic neurons would need to have extremely similar qualities to their organic counterparts, otherwise there could be some changes in the person, also the overall structure of the brain would need to remain intact and undamaged by the nano machinery.
This method may or may not be practicable, but another likelihood is that improvements in cell therapies, and restoration of dna may result in an increase in human lifespan, comparable to immortality. The Ceo of BioViva, had a dna treatment intended to reverse aging. The juries still out on whether or not this will actually work, but i think eventually it'll get figured out.
Unfortunately, I doubt if most people will have access to anti aging technology, it'll probably only serve to immortalize the worlds elites and tyrants, people who are already living longer than most, you know Canberra has the highest life expectancy in Australia, and that's where the politicians live.

I could achieve immorality if I could somehow get past being unjust. but how to get there? perhaps just little acts of poor will against others here and there. maybe you build up to it that way. for example- stealing someone's favorite snack. no, i couldn't do that. what if i'm stealing from someone i hate? yes, that's better. i think im on the path to immorality already
