In two of his movies, His Holiness speaks of the mysterious water, "stock" and stick - in both cases uttering exactly the aforementioned phrase while holding an actual stick, or to be more precise, a rather twisted tree branch.
The strange ritual begins at 05:27 and the phrase itself is heard at 05:46 in "Doctor Slutty Bitch Goes Roadtripping",
The same is true of "Curse Of The Muffin Zombies" at roughly 19:17.
Oddly, both cases are preceded by some sort of plot involving "fishing/hunting for girls". In Muffin Zombies, that same (as I assume) Water is mentioned once more, later in the film. Kubus warns Amund not to step in it.
I understand that trying to decipher anything in Kubusian cinematography is certainly not the kind of task that normal human mind is designed to handle, but this particular phenomenon attracted my attention due to its repetitive nature within this Kubusian ... videosphere. It seems that there was a certain degree of importance put by Kubus into these objects, and the quest for this special kind of water. What does the stick mean to him? Is it a weapon, a tool to tune oneself to the nature, or perhaps the spirits? We can only speculate now - but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to find out what's it all about.
Yeah I have no idea. I haven't watched those movies for ages, and I don't have a working cd/dvd drive anymore and the movies are on dvd. Maybe the stick is connected to wugu magick? Kubus was a bit obsessed with that, and also transforming into a vampire. He was convinced that vampires were real. sticks are like stakes, stakes that can go through the heart, or instruments for casting magick.
i think kubus was just referencing the folk myth that you can find water with a pointy stick. i imagine he didn't even remember what he did it already when he was doing it a second time. shit like this is cool though. i wonder the kubus dimension is ever referenced in the films, i can't remember that ever happening.
Quite possible, I think it's very likely that he heard about it somewhere. I also think that people like Kubus could generate their own, new myths, because it's so easy for such a person to explore their subconscious and cultural background, drawing out new tales to be told. I see that it could happen either way - he invented it or borrowed it from somewhere (would be interesting to know the possible roots of this legend, I think I never heard of anything like that).
Yeah, he wasn't ashamed of (or didn't care about) repeating things, if you analyze his works carefully, there's a lot of recurring motives. He was aware that his creations, behaviour, and basically everything he does is so outstanding that no matter how much he clings to it, the novelty doesn't diminish.
Alternative planes of existence like Hell and Lesbian Pussy Dimension were mentioned in Doctor Sluttybitch movie, but I suspect it's common knowledge. Can't recall him saying anything about the Kubus dimension either. At least for now. It needs another check-up.
