I started eating meat again today, seeing as I just got a new second hand fridge. I hadn't eaten meat since last Christmas When I had a food poisoning incident. I'm not really a fan of meat, I think it tastes bad and probably causes protein tangles. I wish I could flourish on a vegetable only diet, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe its purely psychological, or the result of Placebo, but I feel much more creative than usual after a kangaroo sandwich

i like to eat meat but, i can live without it. if I was living on my own I'd try not too. My mom's a vegaterian so I dont eat meat most of the time when I'm living with her, but my dad eats meat a lot so I tend to eat meat then


thats a pretty long time since Christmas. I do tend to eat like bacon or something in a sandwhich at a cafe and forget i'm eating meat, so maybe it would be harder that I think to not eat it for a few months

i dont eat pig meat cause my stepdad is muslim
i dont really mind, it tastes worse than other meats
im also trying to limit how often do i eat meat, i think its not good to be completely vegan OR eat meat all the time, i think limiting it to like meat once a couple days is good.

I'm trying to grow a few erbs, though I don't have much space, or sunlight. I never eat pork for superstitious reasons, though my brother was fond of it despite being half Jew. I think that was the last time I had pork, when he made me a cabonnara. I'd like to build an aquaponic setup, but I don't know if it's really worth it. In that setup the nitrates that plants use come from fish. Hmm there's nitrates and nitrites, I forget the difference. Plants can only absorb a mineral when it forms what's called a chilate.

Jaques, i really didn't find it that hard per say to go vegetarian but I was getting stomach aches eating beans and lentils. Time wasted being in stomach pain could be better spent on game design or reading or anything really. I don't know why but I can't handle most foods. I get stomach aches. I dunno if it's genetic or if i have a gut disease, it's not bread. Boring to talk about though.

Thanks for the clarification macabre. Yeah thats one of the problems with capitalism, it incentivises corner cutting especially when the effects are,nt obvious. Hydroponics is cool but requires equipment as you say. I only found out recently, but grow lamps don't last forever, they have a definite lifespan.
