And quick tips on a "portfolio"? I've got a barebones HTML file cooked up in SeaMonkey, and plan on using it as a sort of landing page to redirect people to sites where my real stuff, while having a basic summary.
I've got my file almost fully completed, but I'm still unsure about the hosting part. Do I just register a domain, and to get a hosting company like Dreamhost to host said file (or at least something that I could fund on instead of a bag of chips).

if it's just a html file you definitely only need free shhosting
