My place had a partial eclipse, with the moon around 60% covering the sun. It went considerably dark with the clouds. It made an overall overcast day look like some severe severe storm day. The ground in particular started getting cold. I caught some weird blue crescent on my phone next to the sunlight.
I looked online to see about recent news about eye damage. One prankster made a webpage on it blur to make people think that they're going blind.
Also its a good thing theres all these roadblocks or some 80 mph drunk driver would've smashed through our house or something.

The eclipse was allegedly at a 98.7% totality of coverage, but at its peak, all I could tell was an amber dot in the sky (which appeared more as a smudge), and with the nearby surroundings, that somebody turned down the brightness&temperature in Photoshop. Fairly underwhelming As for everything else, the police had to escort tourists in a small 2-lane highway for hours on end. The sounds of cars crashing or the fire station's horn blaring nearby were enough to portray the activity of thousands of people suddenly leaving. Not to mention that the internet is clearer again.
