this game is quite good imo, I found it ages ago on a free games website and thought it was quite funny, and it then got me into Jinx and by extension Kubus.
Also the readme was quite funny.
has anybody else played this one?

the music I think is also very cool especially the driving music, which has some pretty cool musical sounds I think

It is the backing track from depeche mode, "enjoy the silence", sort of remixed tho. also you can shoot lazers with errr..L I think. some people don't discover the lazers. btw I was seriously considering doing a ssequel to this game in 3d, although you play as the cripples this time and you have to take revenge on able bodied people. I might still do it, finishing somthing else atm tho/.

 holy shit it is, I used to listen to depeche mode but I never noticed. traffic collisions in 3d sound like they would look pretty exciting

I like depeche mode. though not all the time, as in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. never let me down is quite good.

I love this game! I actually discovered Jinxtengu's site thanks to Cripple Apocalypse being featured in The Pirate Bay Bundle, which contained lots of small indie games. I fell in love with the art style and gameplay, so I made some research and - you can guess the rest  I never realized it's depeche mode playing in the background! Makes it so much more amazing!! Full controls for the game (I think): h - honks the horn, scares pedestrians awayt - tractor beam, aka lazer - great for getting more score, but overheats, best release it if you see the fires startings - suicide (aouu aouu ohh ouuu awww awww aww aaaahhh!)  spacebar - bullets, reduce your score but make the game more fun
m - launch missile, not many know about this one and it's not listed anywhere. I discovered it simply by thinking "what if there's another weapon mapped to M, a missile perhaps?" And BOOM!. Only 3 rockets are allowed per game, they are slower than bullets and it's hard to find the perfect moment to launch them right in the crowd. But they do not reduce your score!
If you end the game with suicide or tractor beam explosion, there will be a white fullscreen flash. If you die from a fatal car crash, the flash won't occur! |
