Hiya! Does anyone know of and or watch ADULT SWIM ? I'm assuming some of you haven't especially if you live out of the states, wasn't paying attention during the mid 90's to early 2000's (when it was just starting out), or just hate T.V !!!!I hope this is the right place to post this. I personally like "The Brak Show", "12 oz. Mouse", "Space Ghost Coast to Coast", "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law", "Squidbillies", " The Heart, She Holler", "The Eric Andre Show", "Sealab 2021" (sorta), "Moral Orel", and I think that's about it.I have seen some of the other shows but this list is comprised of what I really really love. I do not like what has happened to the current [adult swim] but eh whatever. W h a t c h a g u n n a d o , y e a h ?Oh and here's something I think some of you guys would like. It just completed season 2.Youtube link to Episode 1: Weirdo House Episode 1 I wonder if you guys would like it? It's made by a group of people and maybe some of you heard of PilotRedSun on Youtube? I assume so. If you guys got any suggestions for shows I'd love to hear some!Again if this is the wrong place to post this let me know! Still very new to the forum. ( <---Oh I love this Manga! Neat-o!!! )

Yeah I’ve been into Adult swim since 2007, man they have gotten bigger. I like the Brak show and Aqua teen hunger force, even though they aren't particularly sophisticated in terms of writing or animation (especially if you compare them to say rick and morty). yeah and Sealab, Capn Murphy is legend. Never seen Squidbillies. I Always wanted to see Moral Orel, although I still haven't gotten round to seeing it. I occasionally watch Eric andre, though the shows a bit annoying. Was into tim and erik for a bit. They had a few good bits, could get a bit American for my tastes. I don't really watch much tv, although I have been watching it's always sunny in Philadelphia. It can only stand it in small doses, why do Americans have to scream so much?? ehhh im a bit out of the loop, so much shit to be aware of. I have never heard of Piolet red sun. I don't watch youtube. Thanks for the post Oldluchbag, this is the right place. That manga is from Panarama of hell by the way.

Thanks for the post Oldluchbag, this is the right place. That manga is from Panarama of hell by the way. Moral Orel gets darker but it got canceled (apparently because it was too dark even though the network asked for it, not sure how true that is though). They were going to get into more story about some of the characters but that never got to see daylight, just some stuff mentioned on the fan-wiki page. They ended up with a special in 2012. I'm not exactly sure why there's a lot of " screaming = humor " probably because it's unexpected and out of NOWHERE! AHHHH! AHHHH! aaaaAAaaaaAAHHH!!! *gargles* AHHHHHH!!! *spit*. Hehehe. I liked watching "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" but I haven't caught up to the newer seasons. I don't really have much of an urge to rewatch it though. What I really like about shows like "The Brak Show" or "ATHF" (etc) is the limited animation and the silly absurdist scripts. I really love it when you got to see a glimpse of extra animation in the shows! Some good eye candy right there, really loved that. Also really in love the juxtaposition of these cartoon characters paired up with realistic backgrounds/objects. "Squidbillies" tries for a different style though which I like as well. It's characters were suppose to be like crude ball point pen doodles and the backgrounds used these paint streaks textures, splatters, kinda rough, and wonky perspectives in backgrounds. I'm probably describing this poorly. Later down the seasons I think a lot of the artists on the show changed because it started to get a lot more "neater" looking with character designs. Oh that reminds me there's another show I forgot to mention "Perfect Hair Forever". It just makes fun of anime tropes but I think it does it in a not too try hard of a way? Maybe. I still like it. Not to big on Tim and Eric myself but I did enjoy "Tom Goes to The Mayor" for a short while. I'm not the biggest fan of "Rick and Morty" but I get what you're saying about the writing.
And thanks for mentioning the title but I already know which manga it's from. I really like Hino Hideshi's art style but I wish I can read more of his other mangas. Well at least I got to read about 5 of them! When you have time let me know how you felt about "Weirdo House" or PilotRedSun's channel.

the only thing I have ever watched from adult swim is million dollar extreme world people and it is good but I think it would be better if it was not so hard to understand what they are trying to say

Off The Air is quite good. Its a nice showcase of cool artists and interesting things. I mainly just appreciate what adult swim does for artists tbh, i usually just watch their one offs on youtube.

hahaha cant believe you didnt watch xavier: renegade angel, the greatest piece of animation ever produced by adult swim next to 12 oz mouse and aqua teen ofc those shows are my shit. their crude animation and humor remind me a lot of old czech internet, during 2005-2010, a lot of random teenagers produced short cartoons they uploaded onto youtube or the czech/slovak mojevideo they usually looked like complete shit but were hilarious, complete with old movie maker editing trix and popular metal songs.
and while im at cartoons did anyone here ever watch THE NUTSHACK? cause thats a no joke hella great show and season 2 is my eternal jam they animated the whole thing in flash so it has that classic 2005 flash cartoon feel and also has GRADIENTS and the plot is always the dumbest shit ever like all the weed in the world disappearing so they have to find the sacred ANCIENT weed or having a superpower where if you die, you come back as your inner mexican.
animated shows/cartoons i love in general
rick and morty is pretty damn sweet, at least during season 1 n 2, season 3 got too serious and wasnt very funny
any other animated shows you guys like? not just adult swim anything goes, internet shows includeded

Xavier: Renegade Angel has been in my watch list for a while. I love the character design, at least from looking at image search. I remember writing adult swim offering to make them a web game, they never got back to me, the jerks!
i see that Xavier, is by the Wonder Showzen guys. Anyone seen Wondershowzen? that was a pretty funny series, despite some of the animations being a tad cynical. I kind of got a too many cooks vibe from the show, ala sometimes the different writers didn't really gel. It had some good episodes, though It would be better if it moved beyond the cynicism. I mean what can we take away from that, I mean it's almost a too cool for skool, brand of cynicism. hmm eayh, anyway.

I recently watched a show called Joe Pera Talks with You and I thought it was very good. I sometimes listen to pilotredsun's music while I am working or driving.

I like the songs PilotRedsun has on Bandcamp, they are dreamy, a bit like the Rupert and the toymakers party, c64 game remix. I don't know if I like the youtube videos though, some part of me rejects them. They remind me of the "Bart the general" animation, but I feel like there's something cynical and ugly about them. I hate cynicism because it's really just an acceptance of mainstream values, it's a perversion of art to use it for cynical purposes. Maybe im projecting, but I find alot of internet culture, memes and such, quite cringe-worthy and alot of youtube stuff just reminds me of that. it makes me feel like I need to take a shower, and then turn off the internet. Which I will do now.
