I am continuing the production of Jerry. I am struggling with the platforms as the player likes to sink in halfway for no fukin reason. Its even harder than it used to be to fix. I'm thinking of using my current jumping system where you control your jump speed by when you let go of the jump button. The problem is he's either jumping like hes on the moon or the character ground pounds at the speed of sound.
yeqah actually fifth element, goblet and cryp worlds were big influences, also Zineth by arcane kids and jet set radio. Yes I have a dream to play a GTA type game set in a sci fi world like the fifth element. Sleeping dogs actually comes close to that dream although its not sci fi or a vertical city. i think a vertical city would add a cool dimension for city exploration in a game like that. thanks for playing!
alright oh dear that's annoying, sorry. i think there is a separate version for Linux and linux 64 bit, i only made the non-64 linux one
FYI you should use the 'universal' option for Linux exports from Unity. That should work for everyone. To run 32-bit stuff in Linux you have to install extra stuff, which isn't hard, but maybe plenty of people don't bother.
its 1 dimension from the game, a platformer i whipped up pretty quick. the main dimension has you driving a car to access different minigames. its sunfish and kubus-esque (they are strong inspirations at least) and yeah that scene does look quite tickety. i'd like some test players at some point if you want
